Give your deck, fence, and more a fresh look with longevity from Seal Now
Seal...for a lifetime
Many homeowners install decks and other wooden exterior hardscapes to a property, only to realize later that they neglected to seal the wood, or have only applied a topical sealant that degrades immediately after application. This results in structurally weaker wood and promotes the growth and development of mold, mildew, and various fungi. Protect the investment you’ve already made with Seal Now permanent deck sealant.

How it Works
FREE ESTIMATE – Initial walk through, measurements and estimate of areas to be cleaned and sealed. Test previously stained wood with wood stripper to ensure stain removal and sealing the wood are possible. Most solid or paint type stains cannot be pressure washed and stripped from wood. It is necessary to remove existing stain in order to seal the wood.
Tape and mask glass windows and doors before sealing. Sealer and cleaning soaps are environmentally safe and do not harm greenery. Masking protects glass and are taped off and rinsed after seal application. If stain removal is required flowers, plants and shrubs are masked and tarped to protect from wood stripper.
Surface Wash / Stain Removal
Professional pressure wash and cleaning to prepare wood areas to be sealed. Washing removes surface mold and build up on the wood and can revive the wood back to its natural fresher look.
If stain removal is required wood stripper and wood brightener are applied in the stain removal process. Wood Brightener balances the wood PH level after stripper is applied and washed away.
Sealing
Seal Now will apply two separate coats of wood sealer to the newly washed wood. The wood sealer absorbs into the newly washed wood and penetrates in the voids of the wood to form an internal seal.
Clean Up
Seal Now will clean up and water rinse greenery, windows and doors that may have over-spray from the sealing process. Removal of window masking and tarps if needed.
Maintenance
Wood sealing maintenance is required to ensure a long-lasting deck, fence or pergola. Seal Now wood sealer is not a top coating but an internal sealer. A once per year light pressure wash of wood will remove surface build up and greying of sealed wood. Pressure washing the wood surface will not affect the internal wood sealer. Our annual wash / maintenance service is recommended.
Wood Staining
(limited availability and shorter season due to weather)
Seal Now wood seal is not a top coating therefore if you wish to stain the wood you can add color to your deck, fence or pergola. We recommend semi – transparent and oil based transparent stains. Expect 2 to 4 years before re staining depending on factors such as sun exposure, annual cleaning and environmental elements.
